Headwire is a four-piece rock band, are all under eighteen, and are from Leeds. Officially formed in the Spring of 2012, they have already found their distinct sound due to clever lyrics, complex guitar parts, tight drum beats, and slick bass lines.

Unlike many bands, Headwire doesn’t stick to one particular style as they successfully blend most genres into one to appeal to everyone’s taste. Venues that have been rocked include places such as The Wardrobe in Leeds and Breeze Festival in Roundhay Park and Temple Newsam.

All their material is original and has been very well received by every person who has heard them winning them many admirers and building their reputation. Headwire also has acoustic sets to appeal to any event where they are needed.
They’re main influences are everything current in the rock world, especially Muse as all of they’re songs are so different and so distinctive; but as individuals, Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Foo Fighters are some favourites.

Their new EP “Drunk On Desire” is now available to listen to or download either on this site, Reverb Nation (www.reverbnation.com/headwireleeds) or their Facebook profile (www.facebook.co.uk/headwireleeds).
